Main Applications

Insulating resin for applications requiring electrical insulation of circuits, splices, cables, bushings, and duct sealing. In terms of its characteristics, it has a hardness ranging from 30 to 90 Shore A, with a total cure time of 24 hours. Hardening occurs between 30 to 40 minutes.

Retapol 1080-E has high mechanical resistance and can be supplied in the destructible version (low resistance for removal, maintenance, and new filling) or the indestructible version. The dielectric rigidity reaches over 35kV/. This resin is capable of serving low, medium, and high-voltage systems. The customer has access to destructible resins for maintenance purposes, as well as indestructible resins, which can be dispensed by machine or manually.
